Have you ever thought about what would happen if you were in an accident? What if you could not talk and tell the paramedics or doctors your name, your drug allergies, or how to get a hold of your spouse? I am allergic to Penicillin and it could be disastrous if the doctors did not have this information.
You have probably seen people that add “ICE” as a contact. ICE stands for In Case of Emergency meaning that the paramedics/doctors should contact this person if you are in a accident. That sounds like a great solution, right? Well for security reasons you should have a password on your phone and if you do the emergency staff cannot access your ICE contact. Apple solves this problem for iPhone users with their Health app and it’s already on your phone! You can enter your allergies, emergency contact, and even your blood type in this app and it WILL be accessible to paramedics even if you phone is locked.
